Flushing Commons Town Center Rejuvenation
Steel Speed are fabricating heavy structural steel for the new town centre, currently being contructed in Flushing, New York, USA. This is a $500 million project that includes parking for 2000 cars, a one acre green space, a 50,000 square foot recreational centre (including a swimming pool, basketball courts and excercise room), a business class hotel, 500 residential units and finally a 350,000 square foot retail space. Our role in this is to fabricate custom designed heavy structural steel components for the buildings. Artists impressions of the finished project are below.
